Eemax Operations | Community Connections
Eemax’s partnership with the Travelers Championship is a winning opportunity on many fronts. Pairing with the Travelers Championship is an opportunity for Eemax employees at all levels to participate with our major customers and Rep base at a variety of outstanding events.
Kathy Daudish, vice president of engineering and operations explains that, “This partnership also supports many worthy charities as all revenue generated by the Travelers Championship is dispersed locally via donations. Everyone that participates walks away with a memorable interaction with Eemax.”
We are now in our third year of this initiative and greatly appreciate the community connections that we share. Marlisa Simonson, director of business development at Travelers Championship sums things up perfectly, “We love our partnership with Eemax and look forward to a bright future together!”
Earlier this year, Rheem® introduced the Heart of Comfort (HOC) program at its sites in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The HOC at Eemax identifies philanthropic causes and coordinates volunteer opportunities to support the communities where our employees and customers live and work. An example of this effort was realized during the company’s 30th anniversary celebration. Eemax collaborated with Brady’s Smile to make over 100 blankets for donation to the Bridgeport and Yale Hospital NICU.
Other recent HOC activities include: the company’s participation in the United Way of Greater Waterbury’s annual “Stock the Pantry” Food Drive, and a local golf event where employees volunteered time to serve at the 33rd Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut Annual Golf Tournament. “Eemax is committed to giving back in ways that benefit our own communities and those of our customers,” said Kathleen Mullins, product marketing manager, Eemax. “Heart of Comfort allows employees to unite behind positive, meaningful causes. It is encouraging to watch our impact grow.”
