AccuMix II™ is a winning solution. It is a higher revenue product for the wholesaler, and it is a time and money saver for the contractor when compared to adding an external mixing valve to a point-of-use heater. My guess is that to avoid the added expense and labor necessary to install mixing valves, many customers use them sparingly—such as only in schools or nursing homes. However, the reality is that 43 out of 50 states follow either UPC or IPC plumbing codes which require an ASSE 1070 mixing valve in all public lavatories. The remaining 7 states (as well as Canada) have similar stipulations at the local level.
Eemax recommends that you take a closer look at your markets to determine if you are truly utilizing AccuMix II to its fullest potential. When it comes to tackling the challenges of plumbing codes, AccuMix II has you covered.
